Plain words about data. This page describes how the MedTill product and this website handle information, and it is written from the product's actual behaviour.
Your pharmacy's data
Data you record in MedTill (sales, purchases, stock, customers, staff accounts) is stored in an encrypted database on your own computer. It is not sent anywhere unless you switch on the optional cloud backup add-on. Licence verification works offline: the app does not phone home to activate or to run.
Optional cloud backup
If your licence includes the cloud add-on and you enable it, your pharmacy's data is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our cloud backup service so it can be restored onto a new PC or reviewed in the owner dashboard. The app's activity log stays on your own PC and is not uploaded. Selling never requires the internet; the cloud never blocks the counter.
What support sees
When you send us a diagnostics file from Settings → About, it contains application logs and a health summary. It does not contain your pharmacy's sales, stock or customer data, and it does not contain any of your encryption keys or passwords.
This website
This site does not ask you to create an account and does not use advertising trackers. If you fill in the demo request form, the details you type (name, pharmacy, city, phone number and notes) are handed to WhatsApp so you can send them to us; we use them only to arrange your demo and quotation, and we do not sell or share them with anyone else.
Your control
Your pharmacy's data belongs to your pharmacy. Backups can be copied to your own USB drive at any time, and if you stop using MedTill your data and backups remain with you, readable with your recovery code.
